From Surfing To The Street, Quiksilver Womens Returns
Get a first look at the brand’s latest zine.
Born out of the pioneering surf scene in 1969, Quiksilver is deep-rooted in the relaxed boardriding culture. This year, the brand continues to innovate in the realm by relaunching its Quiksilver Women’s range with a new look — a first of its kind presented through an abstract zine.
Aiming to transcend the worlds of beach and city, the collection serves as a contemporary twist on the brand’s heritage. Inspired by the culture from which the brand flourished, and merged with its passion for an eco-friendly environment, the collection’s swim products are crafted from 100% sustainable nylon in partnership with Econyl. Elsewhere, the remainder of the collection boasts 73% sustainable fabrics constructed using organic cottons, mineral dyes and recycled nylon.
Looking beyond just the performance surfer, Quiksilver Womens is built on creating a more inclusive scene and through its ambassador program as well as collaborative projects, looks to champion representation for all women in the water, marking a shift in cultural perspectives. To capture the journey in full effect, the brand has tapped renowned photographer Raffaele Cariou to creative direct in partnership with SEPTEMBRE00 for the campaign and its accompanying zine.
