Cartier's New Campaign Pays Homage to the Iconic Juste un Clou Bracelet
The nail-shaped piece has endured as as one of the jewelry brand’s signature designs.
Cartier is spotlighting one of its most famous designs — the Juste un Clou bracelet — with a new campaign celebrating the history of the signature piece. Instantly recognizable, the Juste un Clou arrives in the shape of a flat-head nail, putting a luxurious twist on the hardware essential.
Originally conceived in the 1970s by designer Aldo Cipullo, the bracelet was statement of rebellion at the time, as it merged a punk-influenced aesthetic with Cartier’s high-end sensibility. “With Juste un Clou, Cartier perfects the purity of an ordinary shape and turns a simple nail into a jewel with pure, radical and uncompromising lines,” the brand explained.
