This Challenge Will Reward You $2,400 USD for Going on a 24-Hour Digital Detox

Do you think you can do it?

Would you be able to last 24 hours without a single form of technology? Reviews.org, a company that tests out home services and products, is holding a “digital detox challenge” that may reward you with $2,400 USD if you stay away from screens for 24 hours straight.

“If you’ve got the desire to ditch your devices for a day but still need to get paid, this is the perfect opportunity for you,” the brand explains on its official website. According to the company, those who are burnt out from scrolling endlessly on their screens and mentally drained from knowing too much about previous acquaintances from social media are encouraged to participate in the contest.

Winners of the challenge have been guaranteed to receive the official “2021 Digital Detox Challenger” title, a safe to store their technology devices in for 24 hours, $2,400 USD and a $200 USD Amazon gift card for a “tech-less survival kit,” which includes the likes of a typewriter, board games and stationery. Throughout the 24 hours, participants are not allowed to use devices ranging from phones and televisions, to computers and gaming consoles.

As of now, applications for the 2021 24-Hour Digital Detox Challenge have closed. Reviews.org is set to announce the grand winners on March 29 at 4 p.m. MT (6 p.m. EST) via YouTube. You can head over to the official website to learn more.
