Womanizer Creates First-Ever Biodegradable and Recyclable Sex Toy, Premium Eco
Featuring 12 intensity levels and a Smart Silence function.
UPDATE (April 20, 2021): With Earth Day (April 22) right around the corner, Womanizer is set to release the world’s first biodegradable and recyclable sex toy dubbed the Premium Eco.
The pleasure air toy is crafted from eco-friendly material such as biolene, a bioplastic made from 70 percent natural materials. Elsewhere, the piece features Pleasure Air technology, which provides 12 intensity levels and is equipped with the Smart Silence function. Additionally, the piece also comes with a replaceable and rechargeable battery, a shortened charging cable and a protective bag made of 100 percent organic cotton.
Priced at $ 1,560 HKD (approximately $200 USD), Womanizer’s Premium Eco will be available online on April 22. With every purchase of the Premium Eco, Womanizer will plant a tree in collaboration with One Tree Planted.

With the new toy, Womanizer aims to prove that sustainable pleasure is the future, and is therefore launching a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to show that sustainable sex toys are in demand and the future of the industry.
Kicking off on March 29, the crowdfunding campaign aims to fund $20,000 USD, yet the aim of the fund isn’t just a financial goal, it is also an indicator and confirmation that sustainability plays a huge role in life and that the sex toy industry needs to rethink. “The sexual wellness industry has grown extremely in recent years and the products are gaining more and more social acceptance. But as in many other industries, issues like plastic and environmental awareness are omnipresent and long-term solutions and approaches need to be found for this -for our and all future generations. Premium eco is a first of many steps for Womanizer to make us more sustainable as a company,” said Johanna Rief, Head of Sexual Empowerment at Womanizer.
The Womanizer crowdfund launches on March 29 online at Indiegogo, and the brand will donate the entire amount from the campaign to One Tree Planted.
