Hailey Bieber, Naomi Osaka and More Star in Levi's 501 Jeans Campaign
The iconic garment turns 148 this year.
In celebration of the 501 jeans‘ 148th birthday, Levi’s has launched a special campaign spotlighting the iconic garment. The project stars seven talents – Naomi Osaka, Hailey Bieber, Emma Chamberlain, Barbie Ferreira, Jaden Smith, Marcus Rashford and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – who embody the 501 spirit of creativity, authenticity, self-expression and originality.
“The 501 is the original blue jean so it made sense to celebrate our icon with this cast of Originals,” Levi’s Chief Marketing Officer Karen Riley-Grant said in a press release. “We are inspired by the emotional connection they each have with the 501 – their personal styles and stories make the jean so uniquely their own.”
As seen in the visuals above, the brand’s ambassadors showcase their favorite ways to style and wear their 501s. Known for its classic look, the silhouette is made to last and looks better with age. All pairs are produced sustainably thanks to the label’s Water<Less technique, which uses up to 96 percent less water compared to regular denim finishes.
