Gucci Is (Still) Fashion's Hottest Brand

According to Lyst’s latest fashion report, love for the label continues to run deep.

According to Lyst‘s latest quarterly fashion report, consumer tastes haven’t changed much since the beginning of the year.

In a ranking of fashion’s most popular brands and products of Q2 2021, the global shopping platform reveals that Gucci is still the industry’s house of choice, thanks to buzzy initiatives spearheaded by Creative Director Alessandro Michele: a “hack” with Balenciaga, as well as a maximalist line of home decor and furniture.

Coming in at second-hottest brand is Dior, which moved up one spot from its third-place ranking in Q1. Helping solidify its place on Lyst’s index, the house partnered with sacai on a menswear collection last month. The French giant also cast Jin Xing — one of China’s first celebrities to publicly transition — as the face of its fragrance campaign.

Q2’s third-hottest brand is Nike, which continued its partnership with Naomi Osaka — the tennis champion of the moment — via a capsule collection of sleek athletic wear. Louis Vuitton, Prada and Balenciaga follow as fashion’s fourth, fifth and sixth-most popular labels.

A testament to the endurance of the Air Force 1, Nike’s classic low-top is ranked as Lyst’s hottest product of Q2. Following in the sneaker’s wake are Bottega Veneta‘s woven Jodie bag and Jacquemus‘s Le bob Artichaut hat.
