Valentino Becomes the First European Luxury Brand to Partner with Pantone

With a new limited-edition collection in the brand’s signature Pink PP hue.

Valentino has teamed up with the Pantone Color Institute to immortalize its signature Pink PP hue with an all-new collection.

First developed for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2022-23 collection, the color has transcended all expectations and become a marker for Valentino that deserves to live on. As a result, the brand has tapped Pantone – making them the first European luxury fashion brand to do so – for an 11-piece limited-edition line of objects.

Brought to life by Danish object developer Copenhagen Design ApS, the range features to-go cups, keychains, umbrellas, notebooks and pens, each crafted in premium materials made to last. Items all come complete with Pantone’s signature color chip, featuring the Pink PP by Valentino color and the Maison’s storied logo.

Celebrating the launch of Valentino’s new collection, the brand is set to host a number of special pop-ins around the world in October, from Italy and France to the Middle East and Japan. Pop-up stores will also take place in Tokyo’s Ginza and Omotesando districts, and in Melbourne’s Chadstone Mall.

Completing the Valentino and Pantone partnership is a new digital effect, debuting on Instagram and developed with Meta’s Spark AR. The front camera will transport users into a Pink PP universe, while the back camera will offer up a pink digital puddle on any surface it points at, showcasing items from the collection.

Shop the Valentino Pink PP collection from the brand’s website.
