PRIVATE POLICY x Coca-Cola Drops Refreshing Capsule
Featuring sherpa utilitarian-inspired vests.
New York-based inclusive brand PRIVATE POLICY has joined forces with the classic American brand Coca-Cola to release a refreshing and exciting Fall/Winter 2022 collection of garments inspired by the timeless beverage.
Envisioned after newspaper outlets, co-founders Siying Qu and Haoran Li‘s design process centers around one theme for each collection, always keeping sustainability at the forefront. Past concepts include Spring/Summer 2017‘s focuses on enslaved fishermen, Fall/Winter 2019 highlighted our collective obsession with money. while PRIVATE POLICY tackled big pharma for its Fall/Winter 2020 presentation.
The “sporty mini collection” includes an innovative “Faux Shearling” cream sherpa vest, crafted to be layered over sweaters or outerwear, featuring sectional cutouts. Worn by itself, the vest instantly becomes a statement-making piece. The uber-soft shearling neck bears the phrase, “It’s The Real Thing,” for an extra touch of graphic design. Elsewhere, a technical black denim “Harness Vest” commands attention, while a gathering of black and white Coca-Cola® logo-branded T-shirts round out the collection.
