AMI x PUMA Link Up on Apparel and Footwear Collaboration
The French brand’s signature heart motif takes over classic designs.
PUMA has joined forces with AMI on a collection of apparel and footwear combining tailoring with sportswear. Ahead of the official drop, the duo has unveiled a campaign starring Romeo Beckham and Mia Regan.
The couple is seen wearing outerwear, tees, hoodies and more highlighted with the French fashion brand’s signature “AMI de Coeur” heart motif, which is blended with the PUMA logo to spotlight the collaboration. In addition to the apparel, the collection features classic silhouettes such as the Slipstream Lo, Suede Crepe and Suede Mayu. Similar to the garments, the sneakers are updated with the co-branded motif on the tongue. The range is complete with accessories such as a shoulder bag, grip bag, bucket hat and caps.
“The partnership with AMI was a no-brainer — their name literally means ‘friend’ and that’s what PUMA is all about — a community, a family,” PUMA’s Global Director of Marketing Adam Petrick said in a press release. AMI’s founder and creative director Alexandre Mattiussi added: “I’m very proud of the way we mixed the logos together. I think that the result is very impactful and that while this is a gift for us at AMI, it’s a gift for PUMA too. This is something that we share; this is what we call friendship. It is a very honest collaboration — not trying too hard, not pretentious.”
