Ebay Launches Ready-To-Wear Collection Inspired by Queen Elizabeth II
Pre-loved fashion fit for a queen, literally.
Fresh off the back of the Cottagecore trend comes a somewhat unlikely source of fashion inspiration, courtesy of e-commerce platform eBay. The company launched its first ready-to-wear collection influenced by one of the U.K.’s biggest style icons: Her Majesty The Queen.
Teaming up with fashion stylist Isabelle Landicho, the collection reimagines a number of Queen Elizabeth II‘s most notable looks and gives them a contemporary twist. Furthering eBay’s commitment to sustainability, the campaign features only pre-loved items entirely sourced through the platform. Made up of four key looks, the collection draws inspiration from afternoon tea-time, the Queen’s regular visits to Sandringham and her black-tie event outfits.
According to Landicho, what makes Queen Elizabeth II the perfect muse for the collection is “her choice of silhouettes, matching color palettes and classic patterns such as tweed and gingham. Her stylistic consistency over the last 70 years not only makes her a style icon, but gave me a clear vision when searching for these pre-loved items on eBay to put a modern spin on the Queencore looks.”
