From 3D nails to 3D makeup, see the beauty creators that are changing the virtual beauty space.
Many beauty brands are now venturing into immersive virtual experiences. Charlotte Tilbury sponsored the Girl Gamer Festival in 2021; L’Oréal-owned YSL Beauté partnered with artist Talia Mar to promote the Black Opium Fragrance; and Estée Lauder launched the Microsite Anrcade, where users could play arcade-style minigames and learn about the brand’s Advanced Night Repair serum. e.l.f. Cosmetics and NARS are among the first brands to buy into NFTs and market them in the beauty space.
“The metaverse will not only allow for beauty brands to highlight their products and tell their story in ways that currently don’t exist with e-commerce today, but they’ll also be able to build community amongst their shoppers,” Brooke Ozaydinli, Creator Marketing Manager of Instagram, told Hypebae. “The metaverse will create opportunities for much deeper and immersive conversations.”
We’ve found five beauty creators who are a part of the community, building strategies for the metaverse beauty space. Catch our digital friends below serving inspiration on what’s happening with this new wave.
