Revlon Joins Mental Health Platform Real To Provide Mental Healthcare Experiences
“The intersection of beauty and mental health is complicated,” said founder and CEO, Ariela Safira.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and global beauty brand Revlon has joined forces with mental health platform Real to raise awareness of the importance of mental and emotional health. The Real x Revlon initiative provides access to Real’s affordable resources to help make caring for one’s mental health a part of their day-to-day routine.
“The intersection of beauty and mental health is complicated. Beauty can be an important part of self-care and self-expression for some, while specific beauty standards and messaging can have a negative impact on mental health for others,” Founder and CEO of Real Ariela Safira said in a press release. “We’re proud to work with Revlon to explore the relationship between mental health and beauty while also providing a platform to help.”
Chandra Coleman General Manager of Revlon Brand continued: “Revlon’s amplification of Real allows us to bring greater awareness of the importance of mental wellness to consumers across the country. We hope that this new campaign, coupled with Real’s approachable and easy-to-use service, will help find the beauty in removing some of the barriers and stigma around seeking information on mental health.”
Real is offering one free month of services for a limited time only. In addition to the free month, the platform is also offering three months free on a six-month membership. Visit Real’s website for more information.
