Kim Kardashian and Beats Announce First-Ever Custom Wireless Earbuds
“I wanted to break away from the idea that headphones have to be colorful to make a statement,” says Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian has joined forces with Beats to create the first-ever custom collaboration for Beats Fit Pro, the brand’s new true wireless earbuds.
The collaborative product fuses high-quality Beats technology with Kardashian’s signature SKIMS-esque aesthetic. Available in three neutral colors including a light “Moon,” medium “Dune” and dark “Earth,” the new headphones are designed to offer a seamless transition between the gym, the office and everywhere in between.
“I wanted to break away from the idea that headphones have to be colorful to make a statement,” says Kardashian in a press release. “This collaboration is special because it allows you to blend in or stand out, and Beats is known for creating products that showcase individuality.” Alongside the product launch, Kardashian features in an all-new “Beats x Kim” campaign video, sharing her inspiration behind the minimal design and offering a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot.
“Kim brought her signature minimalist style to the first-ever Beats Fit Pro custom headphones,” adds Apple‘s senior VP of services, Eddy Cue. “We’re excited to offer Beats’ most innovative headphones in a whole new, gorgeous color palette to music fans and fashion lovers alike.”
The new Beats Fit Pro appear to be the brand’s most advanced and innovative offering to date, with each pair featuring Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive EQ modes and spatial audio alongside dynamic head tracking and Apple’s signature H1 chip.
Kardashian’s collaboration with Beats comes shortly after the release of her new SKIMS swimwear collection, which featured the brand’s classic styles in an extended range of neutral colors.
“Beats x Kim” will be available for purchase online on August 16 from the Apple website and in stores on August 17.
