Jems Addresses the Current STI Epidemic in Love-Laced Campaign
At this point, Jems cares about our health more than the government.
Between the current STI epidemic we reported on last month and STIs being at the highest rate for the sixth consecutive year in a row, the sex-positivity movement has been in shambles. Thankfully, our favorite condom brand Jems is pioneering yet another important movement.
Condom brand Jems aims to disrupt the toxic condom industry and now, its founders Whitney Geller and Yasemin Emory “want to destigmatize conversations about contraceptives, STIs and sex,” shared the company.
To combat the state of our sexual health, the brand is partnering with SIECUS, “a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting education about sexuality.”
On September 27, both brands will launch their “Use A Condom” initiative with branded T-shirts. For “every share of their “Use A Condom” video, they will donate a box of Jems condoms to get protection in the hands of those who need it.”
