Doja Cat Reveals the Real Name of Her Next Album and Calls Past Work "Cash-Grabs"
Here’s what you need to know about her music.
UPDATE (May 10, 2023): It looks like Doja Cat has finally revealed the real name of her upcoming album, unless she’s trolling fans once again.
According to the singer, her next LP will be titled First of All. She recently tweeted, “it’s not called hEllMoUth either, it’s called ‘First of All’ and yes, I’m announcing the album title right now.”
She also elaborated on how she views her two of her previous albums. She added in another tweet, “Planet Her and Hot Pink were cash-grabs and yall fell for it. Now I can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while y’all weep for mediocre pop.”
Check out her tweets below and stay tuned for more updates.

ORIGINAL STORY (April 13, 2023): For months, Doja Cat has been teasing her next album when it comes to title, genre and pretty much everything involving her upcoming music.
Last month, she took to social media to tease the name Hellmouth as a possibility. She’s previously changed up the genre, at various times disclosing in interviews and on Twitter that the forthcoming LP would be either R&B, jazz, rap classical or pop. However, it seems unlikely that we will know exactly what the album will sound like until she finally drops the project, which could be sometime this year.
“I might just mess with everybody and completely turn the tables on them,” Doja told TIME in a new interview. “But I like the idea of Hellmouth because it sounds good. And it’s provocative.”
On April 12, Doja tweeted, “Idk what to name my album. I keep changing my mind.” Perhaps, she’s actually indecisive or this could be part of her marketing plan. Either way, we’re invested.
Stay tuned for updates.
