Inside Usher's Secret Vegas Wedding
The 8-time grammy winner got married on Super Bowl Sunday.
Following his iconic Super Bowl performance as headliner, news breaks of Usher Raymond‘s halftime wedding.
“We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family,” said the musician’s representative, Lydia Kanuga. “They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.”
According to court documents, Goicoechea and Usher Raymond IV married in an Elvis-style elopement at Vegas Weddings, in downtown Vegas. According to Elvis himself — the chapel’s entertainer Ronald DeCar, that is — Officiating Usher’s Elvis-themed wedding was a ‘highlight’ in his career.

The news follows the controversial hug between Usher and fellow “My Boo” singer, Alicia Keys, that sent social media into a frenzy. Fortunately for Usher Raymond’s honeymoon period, Keys’ husband Swizz Beats quickly nipped any rumors in the bud.
