Shampoos Are the New Bag Charms, According to Haircare Brand QiQi

Tinashe’s fave is launching a cute new ‘SelfCTRL’ kit.

Known for offering salon-quality products without including harmful or damaging ingredients, global luxury haircare label QiQi is entering the travel-sized product game with the launch of its new ‘SelfCTRL’ kit.

Fresh from styling our favorite Nasty singer Tinashe‘s hair for Elena Velez‘s Spring/Summer 2025 at New York Fashion Week, the brand is ready to take the next step in hair journeys everywhere, one 75mp container at a time.

Though QiQi’s product range is expansive, ranging from deep-cleansing shampoos to styling products, the ‘SelfCTRL’ kit is a tight edit of its best-sellers and fan favorites. Namely the Smooth Service Shampoo, Hydration Fixation Conditioner and Super Soaker Smoothing Masque. The smaller packaging is perfect for throwing in your gym bag, taking on trips or even wearing as a keychain, should the mood take you. The trio of minis are attached to a clip, which means you can really take them on the go — their odd and interesting shape can double as an avant-garde bag charm, too.

QiQi’s journey begin in 2018, where its founders made it their mission to find safe solutions for hair control and styling. The first product they launched, the Hair Controller, gained recognition worldwide and built the foundation for the brand’s partnerships. Now the brand is available in 40 countries, and offers a spectacular product range of in-person and virtual learning sessions for professional hairstylists, allowing those who use the brand’s products to ensure successful hair treatments for themselves and their customers.
