Fenty Beauty and Skin Are the Official Partners of the New York Liberty

This is the beauty brand’s first-ever partnership with a WNBA team.

Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin are officially announcing their partnership with the New York Liberty, the reigning 2024 WNBA champions and one of the most celebrated teams in women’s basketball.

Through this collaboration, Fenty aims to amplify visibility for women athletes while celebrating individuality and confidence, which the Liberty proudly champions.

“There is no energy and spirit like New York City‘s and the women of the New York Liberty exemplify such beauty, power and strength, so to have Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin become a part of their journey this season is incredible,” Rihanna said in a press statement. “We’re excited to partner with them to get their game faces on.”

As beauty partners, the brands’ logos will appear on the team’s jerseys, as well as mascot Ellie the Elephant‘s uniform. Fenty will also immerse fans who visit the Barclays Center (home arena of the New York Liberty) in product discovery and a range of different initiatives.

“The New York Liberty is thrilled to team up with Fenty Beauty — a trailblazing brand that shares our values of championing women and celebrating individuality, authenticity and confidence,” said Keia Clarke, CEO of The New York Liberty. “Aligning with like-minded brands allows us to deliver meaningful connections and experiences that truly resonate with our fan base. Together, we will embrace empowerment, boldness and a commitment to creativity.”

The New York Liberty is set to start its preseason on May 9 and its official season on May 17.
