Bad Bunny Teased His New Sneaker in adidas' World Cup Film
With a release date set just before the final.
adidas’ star-studded World Cup film feels like it came out forever ago, but we just stumbled across an Easter egg that has us obsessed. Bad Bunny’s newest soccer-inspired sneaker is slated for a release just before the World Cup final, and the Puerto Rican superstar gave us a sneak peek of the silhouette during adidas’ cinematic tournament warm-up.
Perfectly-timed for the frenzy of the biggest weekend of the summer at MetLife Stadium, Benito is blessing our closets with a pitch-perfect sneaker. The adidas x Bad Bunny F50 Ghost Sprint made its official debut alongside Timothée Chalamet and Lionel Messi back in May, with the artist wearing a bold, purple gradient colorway with blue web detailing covering the upper.
The cameo might have been quick, but our sneaker rotation has never been more ready. Adding to the cool-toned colorway is an electric, neon iteration with a contrasting gum sole. Inspired both by adidas’ signature F50 cleats as well as archival track spikes, the sporty silhouette might be one of Bad Bunny’s best with the Three Stripes.
The adidas x Bad Bunny F50 Ghost Sprint is set to release on July 18 on the adidas x Bad Bunny website.
In other news, New Balance and Kith dropped a 15th anniversary sneaker capsule.
