Luxury Spanish House Loewe joins On to deliver a head-to-toe performance-wear capsule that channels the elements across its dynamic design and technical assemblage.
Crafting a vivid continuation of Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2022 showcase, the new collaborative line takes essential On garments and sneakers to apply the House’s renowned luxury finishes as well as nature-inspired color palettes. Through this blend of design cues, emerges a complete outdoor collection that can be duly enjoyed in city settings.
For the collection, the Swiss running brand selects the iconic Cloudventure and Cloudrock silhouettes which arrive in both men’s and women’s sizing. Both models are built on the brand’s bouncy rubber Missiongrip™ outsole and concealed Speedboard™ mid-sole for ultimate functionality and comfort. Its recycled polyester body is finished with a gradient spray of fresh colors including khaki, gray, orange and two blue iterations. Other treatments feature a marbled-effect sole, brass eyelets and iridescent mudguards.
The ready-to-wear garment range is structured into six refined womenswear pieces and seven menswear items. Core technicals are made up of temperature-regulating T-shirts and weather-adaptable running pants. Each set of essentials can be coordinated into a full look with the collection’s gradient-toned, minimalist, waterproof anoraks, which feature a three-layer membrane and an adjustable hood.
Rounding off the collection with fine detail, the garments’ distinctive color washes are hand-finished to achieve harmonious grading. This individual artisan touch can also be seen in the line’s starry look parka, inspired by Japanese sashiko needlework.
