Here's Everything We Know About Solange's Follow-Up Album to 'A Seat at the Table'
Solange has officially shared details on her forthcoming album. In an in-depth feature for the New York Times T magazine, she shared that her latest release which will be the follow-up to A Seat at the Table. In the interview, she also confirmed the album will see a drop date this fall.
Later in the feature, Solange broke down that on the new album, there’s “a lot of jazz at the core… but with electronic and hip-hop drum and bass because I want it to bang and make your trunk rattle.” As fans wait in anticipation for the release, it’s hard to not reminisce on her art-centric accomplishments from the past year. In 2017 alone, she performed at the Guggenheim, created an interactive project and took her historic art installation on the road.
