ALERT: iPhone 7s With "No Service" Bug Are Eligible For Free Repair by Apple

Have an iPhone 7 that displays “No Service” in the status bar when cellular network coverage is clearly still available? Apple is acknowledging the bug and launching a repair service.

According to Apple, the error message applies to select devices, made between September 2016 and February 2018, and that consequently got sold in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao and the U.S. However, damage that impairs the ability to complete the repair will cost the user.
