Nike's New LA Cortez Is Luxe in the Cleanest Pink Ever
In collaboration with Maria Sharapova.
Nike‘s latest collaboration is with Maria Sharapova on the classic Cortez – a sneaker that is rooted in Los Angeles. Appropriate then, that it’s called the LA Cortez.
It’s premium leather upper is pink but nude at the same time, ending in gold accents on the rear and midsole. Sharapova said about her interpretation:
“I love how it’s minimal and understated in certain ways, yet there’s so much attention to detail with the finishes, materials and even color. I was inspired by my morning walks along the coast on my way to practice, and I think we captured that peaceful essence in this shoe.”
The LA Cortez is available March 1, online and in-store at Nordstrom x Nike. It then releases March 2 on the SNKRS app, nike.com and at Nike The Grove and Nike Santa Monica.
