You Can Now Get a Job at Bottega Veneta by Enrolling in Their School
The Accademia Labor et Ingenium.
Getting a job in fashion is notoriously hard, but Bottega Veneta is making it a bit easier with the opening of its own fashion design academy, Accademia Labor et Ingenium.
Welcoming creatives from all backgrounds, the school will accept a highly selective roster of 50 students each year, guaranteeing jobs at Bottega Veneta upon graduation. The institute’s chief mission is to foster “craft and creativity” with five renowned artisans leading hands-on courses, immersive activities and independent workshops. The classes will take place at the brand’s new site in Povolaro Dueville and its existing atelier in Italy’s Montebello Vicentino, underscoring Bottega Veneta’s design practice.
The special training program begins on October 16, lasting for a duration of seven weeks with Università Iuav di Venezia, which hones in on digital and studio-based learning techniques.
