Ferragamo Sets the Stage for Pre-Fall 2023 Collection Against Captivating Panoramic Visions

Take a closer look at the eclectic range in the cinematic campaign now.

Creative Director Maximilian Davis’ Hollywood-inspired Ferragamo Pre-Fall 2023 collection drops worldwide this month. To bring the silver-screen stylings into focus, the brand releases a new campaign shot by notable photographer and filmmaker Tyler Mitchell.

Riffing off the collection’s new-age take on Salvatore Ferragamo’s various film-to-fashion adaptations, the new campaign offers up an unconventionally refined showcase in what the brand calls “A Fresh Perspective.” The video’s backdrop revolves around a sleek architectural structure that opens up as a frame to rolling valleys, with Ferragamo-dressed models gracing the top of its concrete surfaces.

Across the theatrical storyboard, the range’s alternatively tailored flannels and denim are caught in the softly panning frames. But leaving a statement within the natural landscape, it’s Davis’ typical application of bold colors and bronze metallics that elevates the cowboy aesthetic to contemporary heights, working cohesively with futuristic structures within the campaign.

Speaking on his long-standing relationship with Mitchell, Maximilian Davis says, “Tyler is someone who I’ve grown up with; we’re part of the same community and we’ve always spoken about collaborating.” He adds, “There’s a simplicity and elegance to his work and the way that he captures people; a laid-back clarity which is never forced.”
