A Detailed Look at Tom Sachs x Nike's Mars Yard Overshoe
A shoe for all occasions.
Artist Tom Sachs previously collaborated with Nike on two releases and now he’s back for more, extending the Mars Yard range with a new Overshoe. The boot-like trainer is an adaptable silhouette which protects your feet in all climates. Nicknamed “Marchyard,” the design means that March is the month with all weathers. Crafted with a Mars Yard 2.0 silhouette as a base, the shoe receives a chunky exterior made up of several layers in materials like nylon and polyester. Complete with a “sticky rubber outsole” and a TPU midsole, the boot is one for all occasions. In addition, two Fidlock magnetic buckes are in place to ensure a snug fit, and finishes off the crep with an eye-catching detail.
Expect the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard Overshoe to release exclusively at Dover Street Market London on October 11. The shoe will only be available through online raffle, and stay tuned as a wider release date is expected to surface soon.
