Gucci's Mini Round Ophidia and GG Marmont Bags Are Our Latest Obsession

We’ve just recently added Gucci‘s mini Ophidia GG backpack to our holiday wish list, and it looks like we’re already lusting over some other new releases by the Italian luxury brand. For Fall/Winter 2018, Alessandro Michele has expanded both the Ophidia line and GG Marmont line by introducing new mini, round-shaped shoulder bags that are simply ideal for all the year-end festivities.
Sure, circle-shaped bags might not necessarily be the most practical handbag style but that doesn’t make them any less attractive. Coming in black suede and Gucci’s GG Supreme canvas in brown, the Ophidia mini GG round shoulder bag is designed with a sleek, gold chain, and is completed with the brand’s signature green and red Web stripe on both sides. The GG Marmont version of the mini bag features a similar design, except it’s constructed with matelassé chevron leather and sees a heart on the back. All three handbags are currently available for purchase on e-tailer Farfetch. The brown Ophidia mini GG round shoulder bag retails at $1,390 USD, while the black suede iteration prices out at $1,790 USD. The GG Marmont mini round bag is the most affordable option among the bunch, with a price tag of $1,290 USD.
