Rihanna Shows off Her Hacking Skills in New 'Ocean's 8' Trailer
Meet Nine Ball.
After sharing a series of short teasers introducing each character earlier this week, Warner Bros. Pictures now finally unveils the official main trailer of Ocean’s 8.
A spinoff of the Ocean’s Trilogy, the upcoming film features a star-studded cast of actresses, with Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett’s characters leading the rest of the all-female crew to pull off a heist. In the trailer, we see Bullock playing Debbie Ocean, the sister of George Clooney’s Danny Ocean who is fresh out of jail. With an all-star team, Debbie plots a robbery that will bring $16.5 million USD in diamonds to the entire crew. Said jewelry will be stolen from a world-famous actress played by Anne Hathaway, specifically at the annual Met Gala. Watch above to see Rihanna‘s Nine Ball performing some intensive hacking, and to meet the other cast members including Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter and James Corden.
The screenplay is co-written by Olivia Milch as well as Gary Ross, the filmmaker responsible for writing and directing The Hunger Games and Pleasantville.
