Raf Simons Debuts New adidas Footwear at Men's SS19 Show
The Ozweego is transformed.
Raf Simons‘ Mens’ Spring/Summer 2019 collection was debuted in Paris to eager attendees. The menswear has an overall rocker theme with a few contemporary references as seen in the bags and other accessories.
To complete each look, models were sent down the runway in new leather platform boots by adidas. Hybrid models of the Ozweego and Detroit Runner are morphed into New Wave-inspired boots that lift the wearer a full two inches from the ground. The footwear arrived in a variety of finishes and hues to complement the clothing. This release makes a strong case for unisex footwear that can be styled as feminine or masculine.
