Cat Footwear's INTRUDER Sneaker Is a Chunky Statement
Inspired by the archives.
The chunky sneaker trend is still alive and well, and the latest silhouette we’ve got our eyes on is Cat Footwear‘s sleek INTRUDER trainer. Originally from the 1996 archives, the label is bringing back the chich shoe in two streetwear-ready colorways – black and white. Sporting a textured upper sat atop an overbuilt, layered sole, the sneaker features a hiking boot-inspired aesthetic merged with a modern and sleek shoe. To finish off, tonal laces are added sporting yellow details.
Originally set to be a release exclusive to the international market, Cat has decided to release the shoe in the U.S. on March 15 due to popular demand. Take a look at the two new colorways in the gallery above, and let us know which is your favorite in the comments below. For more from Cat, don’t miss the label’s collaboration with Swedish brand Axel Arigato.
