Set to land in a special edition, the potential new collab comes shortly after the Air Max 1 ‘86 made its debut this year, in honor of Air Max Day. Revisiting its classic “Big Bubble” design which appeared in the 1986 original, the updated design also featured air pockets across the sneaker’s sole.
If it’s true, the new team-up will mark Jacquemus’ third Nike collaboration, following stellar releases like the recent J Force 1 Low, which was inspired by Nike Considered, Nike’s low-waste project from the early 2000s, and the Air Humara — which landed in hues of “Light Bone and Gold” alongside a vibrant hot pink.
At present, there are virtually no details surrounding the potential launch of the Jacquemus x Nike Air Max 1 ‘86, but we expect more information to land in early 2024.
