Paris Hilton's Nostalgic Pigtails Resurrects Y2K's "Natural Hair" Era
For those of us old enough to remember.
Peter Cottontail has come and gone, but leave it to Paris Hilton to give us all the Easter content we didn’t know we needed. The star spent her holiday on a ski trip and served us a subtle hair length check under her bunny ear hat for good measure.
Hilton sported two playful low-style pigtails, free of any ritzy hair extensions, taking us back to her youthful Y2K days. At first glance, you’d need to double-check yourself and your calendar as it looked like a picture-perfect moment from at least 2005. (For those of us old enough to remember.) We can always count on Miss Hilton for a back-in-the-day trend, and with her resurrecting pigtails, we’re bound to see more of her influence in the days to come.
Now that Easter has come and gone, we’re looking forward to one of the biggest festivals for music: Coachella. Will Paris Hilton pop out with tween pigtails or some hairstyle that takes us back to the late ’90s – early 2000s? We can only stay tuned to find out.
