Held at Rogue, the shopping event celebrated the footwear brand’s newest sandal launch.

On March 29, Hypebae and SOREL launched an exclusive pop-up event at Rogue to commemorate the footwear brand’s latest sandal launch. Hosted by founder and owner Emma Rogue, the electrifying noughties wonderland located in the Lower East Side, known for its electrifying curation of vintage designer pieces and hidden gems, acted as the perfect locale to kick off the shopping experience. 

During the event, the presence of influential creatives, style-savvy shoppers and members from the vintage connoisseur’s community were plentiful as guests flexed their fashions in-store while perusing SOREL’s latest sandal silhouettes and hand-picked statement styles curated by Emma. While jamming to a curated playlist of hits, attendees admired the nostalgic poster-clad walls of Rogue featuring the faces of the hottest names in Hollywood circa 2005. Between the racks of rare designer finds and holy-grail items were neon cubes holding up SOREL sandals, including the Kinetic Impact Slingback Heel and the Kinetic Impact II Low Sandal as well as an Instagram-worthy mirror adorned with polaroids of the guests as well as handwritten post-its with sweet and supportive messages. 

Dressed to the nines for the one-of-a-kind occasion, Emma wore a one-of-one multi-patterned mesh top by streetwear brand MINDBLOWN that was paired with a black pleated skirt from Tripp NYC and SOREL’s Kinetic Y-Strap High Sandal. The playful and colorful look was complemented by the downtown doll’s vibrant eye makeup featuring sharp swipes of bright orange, blue and green. While mixing and mingling with guests, the evening’s host encouraged patrons to indulge in freebies on-site like SOREL sandal stickers and a basket full of co-branded neon socks to wear when trying on the footwear brand’s newest summer lineup which was also free of charge to any and all in attendance. Along with the melodic tunes, guests enjoyed cookies and fizzy drinks, the latter of which were later used to toast the exclusive event and Emma’s beloved storefront.
