Stüssy and Martine Rose Celebrate the "Art of Driving"
“Expect perfection.”
Fresh off the back of its Spring 2023 accessories release, streetwear label Stüssy just dropped a teaser of its forthcoming collaboration with London-based designer Martine Rose.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the teaser featured a cryptic image followed by a caption which reads “Stüssy & Martine Rose…expect perfection,” with a confirmed release date — one that’s sooner than you’d expect. Shot by London-based photographer, Rosie Marks, the image gave us a peek inside the collaboration, sporting two distinctive pieces from the upcoming range.
First up, is a pair of racing gloves, worn by the unknown driver in the photo. Arriving in a black leather base, the gloves feature a series of block colors and text, alongside both Stüssy and Martine Rose logos and graphics. Elsewhere, the picture shows a hanging banner, complete with bright yellow fringing and a collage print with colorful background.
Now, the duo have shared an official look at the collection, which aims to celebrate “the art of driving.” Comprising a steering wheel cover, driving gloves, a scented air freshener, a co-branded car mat set, a fringed flag and a collaged windscreen, the collection also boasts a range of apparel in the form of Stüssy T-shirts and a graphic hoodie.
