GCDS Celebrates 50 Years of Hello Kitty With Sweet Treats in Milan
Teaming up with Japanese bakery PAN Milano.
Italian fashion label GCDS is joining in on the anniversary celebrations with Sanrio, celebrating 50 years of the iconic Hello Kitty franchise. Feeding into the ongoing food and fashion frenzy, the collaboration sees GCDS team up with PAN Milano, a Japanese bakery specializing in classic viennoiserie pastries with a Japanese twist.
As part of the collaboration, the bakery features GCDS and Hello Kitty branding throughout, alongside Shokupan and Hello Kitty-shaped doughnuts. Alongside the food offering, the partnership features a Spring/Summer 2024 capsule collection, fusing GCDS’ tongue-in-cheek spirit and dedication to craftsmanship with Hello Kitty’s recognizable aesthetic. The collection will include new ready-to-wear pieces like T-shirts, caps and shirts alongside best-sellers like the signature GCDS Crochet Bikini.
