PUMA and Palomo Spain Have Entered the Sneaker Loafer Chat

Building on the rubber sole of the PUMA Nitefox.

Off the back of New Balance‘s recent 1906L debut, it appears that sneaker loafers are set to be the next biggest trend in footwear. PUMA and Palomo Spain‘s new collaboration exemplifies that, launching a new collection of apparel and footwear — including their brand-new loafer silhouette.

Based on PUMA’s chunky Nitefox sneaker, the new shoe places a loafer-style upper on top of the chunky sole, decorated with leather tassels and an emphasized metal buckle. Arriving in “Frosted Ivory” leather, the silhouette features linear designs and subtle grooves throughout its modular base.

Featuring in the brand’s collaborative campaign, which gives us a behind-the-scenes look at an advert shoot, the shoe is captured through ’70s style visuals, worn alongside retro jacquard track jackets, French terry baby tees and new colorways of the PUMA Palermo sneaker.

Check out the campaign and take a closer look at the new PUMA x Palomo Spain sneaker loafer above, slated for release on May 11 via PUMA.

In case you missed it, here’s what you need to know about the upcoming Jack Harlow New Balance.
