Nike's Latest Limited-Edition Air Force 1s Are Star-Studded
Level up your sneaker game.
After recently being spotted in a fall-appropriate plaid pattern, Nike‘s Air Force 1 is back with a special release in celebration of China’s annual Singles’ Day. In case you’re unfamiliar, Singles’ Day is literally a day that’s in honor of all those singletons out there, and what better way to treat yourself than with a fresh new pair of creps.
The limited-edition sneakers arrive in two classic colorways – black and white. Each features the classic construction that’s become the signature look for the AF1; a smooth leather upper complemented by tonal details throughout. A matching Swoosh rests on the lateral side, whilst perforations on the midfoot add to the athletic look. Of course, the unmissable detail is the scattering of metal star embellishments that adorn the upper in silver on the white sneakers and glimmering gold on the black pair. Both sets are then completed with debossed Nike branding on the heel and a crisp, white midsole.
The star-studded Air Force 1s are set to release in China on November 11 which, not-so-coincidentally, is Singles’ Day. The rest of the world may be able to expect a wider release on nike.com later this winter, although that’s yet unconfirmed. Stay tuned for updates and check out these metallic Nike AF1s.
