Delete Your Finsta and Use Instagram's New "Close Friends" Feature Instead

Share your most personal moments with your favorite people.

Instagram has introduced a new “Close Friends” feature which allows users to share photos with their favorite people. The function seeks to address the rise of “Finstagrams,” fake Instagram accounts that millennials use to post more personal content.

Photos and videos that normally would be uploaded to someone’s Instagram story can now be redirected to a curate group of close ones. Users can select the option now on their content screens via a green button on the bottom right corner. Instagram pre-selects accounts that you engage with to create suggestions for the “Close Friends” circle but users can also add and remove their own picks.

Log onto Instagram now to check out the “Close Friends” feature.
