'The Incredibles 2' Official Trailer Is Just as Incredible as We Expected
Don’t worry – Edna makes an appearance as well.
First introduced almost 14 years ago, Disney fans can now celebrate the official return of everyone’s favorite superhero family: The Incredibles. Released as an Olympics sneak peek, the first full-length trailer for The Incredibles 2 is just as action-packed and adorable as you would expect. In the clip, we are acquainted to a time in which being a superhero (or “Super,” as known in the movie) is illegal.
However, Mrs. Incredible – more commonly known by her crime-fighting moniker, Elastigirl – soon becomes recruited by a tycoon to take up her superhero ways once again. Left to take care of the children (Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack) is Mr. Incredible – a very refreshing take on “typical” gender roles being reversed in a family unit. As we follow Mr. Incredible on his greatest adventure yet (yes, we mean fatherhood), expect to see plenty of hilarious antics from Jack-Jack along the way, as well as cameos from beloved characters such as Frozone and Edna.
Incredibles 2 is slated to arrive in theaters on June 15. In the meantime, make sure to watch the first official trailer above.
