Peep the "Purple Smoke" Upper on Nike's New Air Max 97

Cop or drop?

Nike continues to release new colorways of the ever-popular Air Max 97. The silhouette recently debuted in “Summit White” and “Black Grape“ hues that are perfect for summer wear. The newest color combination is dubbed “Purple Smoke” referring to its rich upper.

A new print is featured on the lower half of its lateral adding some dimension to the pair. A crisp white midsole breaks up the monochrome sneaker and draws attention to the matte black Air Max Unit. Those looking to give pink a rest should consider copping this $160 USD sneaker.

A release date has yet to be confirmed so stay tuned for more information. Take a look above and let us know if you plan on copping.
