Manhattan Records x Sacai's Limited Edition Handbags Are Almost Here
Debuted during the fashion label’s FW18 show in Paris.
Sacai and Manhattan Records unveiled a collaborative handbag design during the label’s Fall/Winter 2018 runway presentation. The eccentric design is reworked as a signature record bag from the iconic record store based in Shibuya, Tokyo. The piece arrives in three different colors: red, teal and navy blue.
The aesthetic of the lamb leather bag calls upon co-branding in the form of a bold, graphic pattern. We also see a metal handle which can be folded over to make a clutch. In addition to a versatile clutch, another iteration appears as a handbag-record bag fused together with a fold over flap closure and straps. This option can be worn as a cross-body or even a shoulder purse.
The Manhattan Records x Sacai leather handbags will be available at the Sacai Aoyama flagship store and at select international retailers on August 25.
