Last month, Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of New York City-based label Public School revealed images of an upcoming collaboration with Nike, and now it looks like we’ve gotten an official release date. The drop features a trio of coveted kicks, arriving in a black, white and grey colorway, and merges elements from the Air Force 1‘s classic high, mid and low silhouettes. Crafted from a mixture of fabrics, the sneakers get a deconstructed and rustic aesthetic, with unfinished edges and stitching throughout.
Complete with PSNY x Nike branding embroidered on the tongue, the creps are instantly streetwear ready. The release will also celebrate the 35th anniversary of the AF1 silhouette last year, with the new reconstructed classic. Set to release on September 5 at NikeLab as well as online at nike.com, the sneakers will retail at $200 USD. Take a look at the new shoes in the gallery above, and let us know if you’ll be copping.
