Kendall Jenner Addresses Her Controversial Comments on Modelling: "I Was Misrepresented"

A social media outrage erupted earlier this week when models including Jac Jagaciak and Daria Strokous spoke out against comments made by Kendall Jenner in a recent LOVE magazine interview. Deemed by a few in the modelling industry as “disrespectful” and insensitive, the excerpt quoted from Kendall’s feature reads:
“Since the beginning we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f*ck those girls do. More power to ‘em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else.”
In response to the controversy, Kendall has taken to Twitter to explain that she was “misrepresented” in the Instagram post shared by LOVE. “It was intended to be entirely complimentary but unfortunately, my words were twisted & taken out of context,” the reality star-slash-model writes. “I want to be clear. The respect that I have for my peers is immeasurable!”
