This Is Not a Drill, Pat McGrath Is Coming to the UK
“A Technicolour Odyssey” arrives at Selfridges.
Yes, you read that right. Makeup and beauty queen Pat McGrath is taking the mothership on a quick trip to London, where she will be opening a special creative campaign at Selfridges. Titled “Technicolor Odyssey,” the collection will feature 24 windows directed by Pat McGrath herself, as well as exclusive collaborations with Prada, COMME des GARÇONS, Valentino, Versace, Chrome Hearts, Rick Owens and more.
“Prepare to indulge like an icon with exclusive beauty services inspired by the opulent obsessions, iconic inspirations and alluring addictions that have fuelled Pat McGrath’s unrivalled three-decade reign as The Queen of Beauty for runway, red carpet and editorial,” states Selfridges’ announcement, revealing that “The Mothership” will take over the exclusive The Corner Shop at the iconic store. Not only will there be beauty and makeup to get your hands on, the artist will also be presenting her first-ever masterclass where she will, “divulge backstage beauty secrets and reveal the techniques behind some of her most legendary creations.”
Throughout her 25-year-long career, McGrath has worked with some of the most influential names in fashion, and Vogue‘s Anna Wintour has referred to her as “the most influential make-up artist in the world.” Don’t miss your chance to discover the opulent world of Pat McGrath on April 4, when The Mothership lands at Selfridges London.
