Riot Games Announces Spotify as First Audio Streaming Partner for 'League of Legends'

Having recently announced Cisco as its official enterprise networking partner, Riot Games has now shared its latest deal with Spotify for League of Legends Esports. The streaming platform, boasting around 300 million active users, will participate in global gaming events including the World Championship, Mid-Season Invitational and All-Star Event.
LoL fans can expect to see a rollout of original content from the two companies as the World Championship approaches. The deal involves an original podcast series for LoL, curated music playlists from the gaming community, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the World Anthem and more. Untold Stories: Top Moments from Worlds, which will be kicking off the podcast series, discusses insights and unique stories from the annual tournament. Hosts will be taking gamers on a trip down memory lane by highlighting historical moments of the gaming space.
