Mirror Water, a newly founded lifestyle brand that promotes self-care, has launched a trio of hero products for the ultimate bath treatment. Founded by Estée Lalonde, the range aims to develop conscious connections between the mind and body.
Lalonde prioritizes themes of beauty, vulnerability and self-reflection in her recent line featuring SOAK Bath Salts, SMOOTH Body Oil and RUB Solid Balm. She says: “For years, I have found that bathing makes a soothing, reflective space to hold a mirror up to your life, your routine, or even just your day, which for me is true self-care.”
The SOAK Bath Salts are formulated with mineral-rich ingredients such as Canadian black spruce oil, vetiver, cedarwood and bergamot. The former provides the user with clarity and reassurance, while therapeutic aromas are released in the presence of running water. The SMOOTH Body Oil is a blend of smoothing grapeseed oil, marula and camellia oils targeted at nourishing and softening dry skin. When applied after a bath, this creates an oil-water hybrid that helps to seal in both textures, which boosts hydration. The RUB Solid Balm, on the other hand, is made of a blend similar to the Bath Salts, featuring a rich, melting formula that can be used on dry areas of the body. Containing over 70% shea butter with a non-greasy finish, rubbing your hands together results in a nutty and buttery shea aroma aimed to provide subtle and comforting undertones.
