Copenhagen-based band ROTATE celebrates togetherness and the unique power of female friendship for its Pre-Spring 2023 collection, delivering a vivid display of uber-saturated garments that exude individuality.
Merging a punk aesthetic with an unapologetic feminine sensibility, the brand’s latest presentation is inspired by creative directors Thora Valdimars and Jeanette Madsen’s own personal sister circles. Standouts include a positively psychedelic purple faux fur shag jacket, alongside shimmering, statement-making matching sequin sets. Elsewhere, a holographic snake skin suit results in an eye-catching ensemble, perfectly embodying cool girl energy. Meanwhile, a bubblegum pink mini dress is outfitted with a flirty floral print, balancing the collection’s rockstar-worthy garments with a touch of sartorial sweetness. Following closely behind is a sultry iteration of the classic tweed skirt suit as the blazer boasts a plunging neckline, while the knee-length skirt is not complete without a thigh-baring slit.
ROTATE continues to experiment with texture, introducing a tactile tassel-finished crochet fabric, alongside a party-ready black sparkle knit. The entire collection is fit for a fête as an electric green halter jumpsuit evokes confidence as it boasts a fun midriff cut-out, while a grape-colored bustier and matching leather pants provides a lovely contrast.
