Finnish skier Remi Lindholm broke a Winter Olympics taboo when he opened up about his frozen penis following the men’s 50-kilometer skiing race held near Beijing.

“You can guess which body part was a little bit frozen when I finished,” the skier told Finnish news outlets. He continued: “It was one of the worst competitions I’ve been in. Meanwhile, Lindholm suffered from the drop in temperature due to a thin ski suit and under-layers. The athlete finished in 28th place with a record nearing an hour and 16 minutes.

This isn’t the first time the 24-year-old experienced such an ordeal, as he went through similar circumstances in a Finnish event last year. He added: “When the body parts started to warm up after the finish, the pain was unbearable.”
