Dior and ERL's Spring/Summer 2023 Collab Gets Special Release at DSM
“California Couture” lands at Dover Street Market this week.
Dior and ERL, the brainchild of Eli Russell Linnetz, first unveiled their Spring/Summer 2023 collaboration back in May and now, it’s getting a special release at Dover Street Market.
First debuted in Linnetz’ home of Venice Beach, the collaboration, dubbed “California Couture,” fused satin pastels with sartorial suits, quilted puffers with glitzy knits and fuzzy shorts with tinsel-esque accessories. Offering a vibrant reimagining of the classic luxury brand, the capsule introduced mini saddle bags, chunky sneakers and pearl-encrusted beanies in unsuspecting hues of lilac, teal and baby blue.
Speaking to Hypebeast about the partnership, Jones said that “I wanted to bring a new energy to Dior with colors and couture. Looking at this last show in Los Angeles, I think we did a great job! I love Los Angeles. It’s the American way, the American way of looking at sportswear. Also the idea of Christian Dior in America, of the glamour of that time in film.”
Dior and ERL’s “California Couture” capsule is set to land at Dover Street Market on January 5, with a wider release scheduled at Dior boutiques shortly after.
