Rosalía Brings Worlds Together With New Single "Tuya"

Fusing Japanese instruments with reggaeton.

Rosalía proving her musical acumen knows no bounds as the Grammy award-winning artist fusing cultures together with her new single, “TUYA.”

Marrying her reggaeton roots with Japanese influences, ROSALÍA breaks barriers with her 180-second hit. Co-produced by the artist herself, the Stillz-directed music video is captured entirely in Japan, paying direct homage to the country, ROSALÍA has a “great love and respect for.” Japan’s national instrument, the koto, can be heard from the very beginning, immediately enchanting the listeners.

“Exploring is part of who I am as a musician and in the case of “TUYA’s” inspirations such as reggaeton, Japanese instruments, flamenco and gabber techno coexist at the same level,” the singer shares in a statement.
